One workspace, shared understanding

Keep tasks, documents, and decisions together. Work directly in the dashboard or through a connected AI assistant.

Workspace Area: Sales List: Acme Tasks →→→
Areas control sharing. Lists can represent accounts, initiatives, or ongoing work. Documents keep reference information close by.

Three steps, no infrastructure to think about

Simple and practical -- there isn't much more to it than this.

1

Claim your workspace

Provision your isolated workspace in seconds at yourname.docketcloud.app.

2

Choose how you work

Use the web dashboard immediately, or configure Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex with npx @docketcloud/init@latest, then finish email sign-in in your client.

3

Collaborate across tools and teams

Share an area with collaborators by email. They can use the dashboard or their preferred AI assistant.

One structure for different kinds of work

Documents and tasks, live in one place, searchable from any connected AI assistant.

From a plan to clear tasks

Keep a plan in a document, organize its tasks in a list, and add checklist items where useful. Use four clear statuses: To do, In progress, Completed, and Canceled.

docket_add_document({ title: "Acme renewal" })
docket_add_task({ title: "Follow up on renewal" })
docket_add_checklist_item({ text: "Budget confirmed" })

Multi-tenant isolation

Every workspace gets its own isolated database and subdomain -- your team’s work never sits in a shared table with anyone else's.

acme.docketcloud.app
→ its own Turso database

Searchable documents

Plans, account briefs, and decisions live alongside tasks. Answer "what did we decide about X" with a keyword search, from any agent.

docket_search_content("rate limit")
→ 3 tasks, 1 document

Session state that outlives the context window

A private scratch space for an agent to stash a URL, a stack trace, or an id mid-task, without re-reading the whole chat history next time.

Zero-friction sharing

Share an area with Read or Write access. A collaborator without an account gets one provisioned automatically.

Frequently asked

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI AI assistants to external tools and data. Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop, and Codex all support it -- Docket Cloud is built on it directly, not as an add-on.

How do I connect my AI assistant?

Run npx @docketcloud/init@latest --workspace YOUR_WORKSPACE after creating a workspace. It configures supported local installations of Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex, then guides you through email sign-in. For ChatGPT and Claude, add https://YOUR_WORKSPACE.docketcloud.app/mcp in remote connector settings. Client plan or administrator restrictions may apply. Windsurf OAuth setup is not automated in this release.

Do my collaborators need the same AI assistant I use?

No. Each person connects with whichever agent they prefer, or just uses the web dashboard -- everyone reads and writes the same workspace data.

Is search AI-powered?

Search today is keyword-based (SQLite FTS5), covering both tasks and documents in one call. Semantic search is a possible future addition, not available yet.

Is there a mobile app?

Not a dedicated one -- the web dashboard works in any mobile browser.

Is there a free way to try Docket?

Yes. Docket Cloud Free includes one area, 10 MB of content storage, and unlimited connected agents. Upgrade when you need sharing or higher limits. Docket CE is also available as a separate, self-hosted single-user version.
